No holiday pay means they don't see it as a real holiday, just another day to cash in on. Assholes. Sam Walton would be pissed off.

I don't see it as a problem as long as they add it as PTO.

If you think of the five standard holidays at time and a half, that should be 20 hours of pay annually. Are they adding those 20 hours to their available PTO? If they are I think it is fine, if not then they are using this as an excuse to reduce employee benefits.

It is nice they let you cash out PTO, not a lot of companies do that anymore.

But did they increase the amount of PTO available to offset loss of holiday pay?
