About 55 million people die worldwide every year. I wonder just how many years will be added when counting the number of people who died while being COVID positive.

It's likely an overcount; still not insignificant, but nowhere near the insanity we've endured over it. I wrote about this two years ago and I think it's pretty much come true. COVID is a disease, but the reaction to COVID is also a disease:
