Duluth seems to be a hub for human trafficking, in general, and people who've attempted to expose corruption surrounding it have met with heavy handed tactics above and beyond what is normal for the average Internet warrior. The scene is worth keeping an eye on.

The short and skinny is that a couple of police officers took up the task of trying to fight this scourge in Duluth and did not fare well. Most recently, Timothy Holmseth claims to have conducted a pretty in depth investigation, there, and, as I don't readily trust him as a source, I am curious to confirm or deny some of his allegations, specifically.
