Flag worship is one thing, symbolizing American culture with the flag, be it Cajuns in Louisiana or pedos in Hollywood, is totally different

The Pledge of Allegiance is straight up flag worship and the National Anthem is literally a poem about the flag. Sure the flag is supposed to be a symbol of the US, but so are bald eagles, apple pie, and the Statue of Liberty.
