From a linked article, I find this the most interesting tidbit

P&G reported a net loss of about $5.24 billion, or $2.12 per share, for the quarter ended June 30, due to an $8 billion non-cash writedown of Gillette. For the same period last year, P&G’s net income was $1.89 billion, or 72 cents per share

None of the excuses P&G gave can justify that level of loss.

I was listening to the business news with my husband and heard them try to blame shave club and also the popularity of the slightly unshaven look. We laughed so hard :-)

Dollar shave club has been around for close to a decade now. It makes total sense that Q2 2019 would suddenly be when they take down the evil razor corporation for good!
