I think this is the important detail. They weren't looking for DNA evidence. Saudis poisoned him with some sort of toxic material and the Turks knew exactly what they were looking for before they went in. This would suggest that either there is footage of the actual murder and not just the disposal of the body, or the Turks had someone inside the building when it happened.
