Paying someone to sign an NDA is hardly "hush money." It's done all the time and perfectly legal. The question is whether that then becomes a campaign contribution. That's a huge leap. If a candidate undergoes lyposuction during an election to make himself look better (and thus influence the election), is that a campaign contribution? When Hillary got a new hairdo during the campaign was that a campaign contribution?

"Says" is the important word now. If proof is presented in the future, it should receive the same exposure and results as past instances, some of which involve past Presidential campaigns.
