I agree, every time I've seen Trump speak out he's added this caveat. Those who wish him to fail, and thus America fail, will turn over any rock to make him wrong on any issue. How can anyone argue that you shoulodn't speak with your enemy in an attempt ... even if it's a long shot ... to make peace.

Not like he hasn't said that since before the meeting. And if not performing a war game for 12 months is "giving something to NK", I'm OK with that. The expense of the war game is most likely already on the books and the training will take place one way or another. Any savings from not needing to perform this war game would be in the future.
