Quality and service both have taken a real hit over the last 20 years at Sears. Used to be you'd buy your major appliances from these folks and shit worked. Got an air conditioner from them a few years back and it made it through all of one summer. Space heater died after a single season as well. I'm not sure I'd trust them to source so much as a box fan these days.
