There's no linked sources here and there's no author name. Those are two bad signs for a news site.

I've searched YouGov's site about this and came up with no poll results for anything with the keyword "germany" nor "turkey". Nor is there anything else related to this.

This looks familiar.

This too.

How's your German? The German YouGov website certainly mentions Germany a lot, but I haven't found the article/survey yet.

Your second to last link seems more comprehensive than the rest, and states

The survey was conducted by YouGov between May 16-18 with the participation of 2,026 people.

Edit: Still failing to find a YouGov.de article on this, though I'm not convinced it doesn't exist somewhere (or didn't exist). Can't seem to find a simple list of surveys on the website.

Edit 2: Guess I give up. I appreciate your diligence - if the story is fake I think they did a reasonable job. Think I should just delete it?

Yeah, I don't know enough German to navigate. I don't know about deleting, my primary point was to point out the sketchy source.

It seems to me there's some conspiracy (or stupidity) to change people's opinions about either Germany or Turkey here. Check out these two links, which are basically the same situation all over again:

First: https://www.turkishminute.com/2017/07/27/surveys-show-majority-of-germans-avoid-going-on-holiday-to-turkey/

Second: https://stockholmcf.org/surveys-show-majority-of-germans-avoid-going-on-a-holiday-in-turkey/

That second one is the same domain as one I linked up above. I'd personally throw out the lot. What I typically see in these types of "news sites" is that, on top of false news, they'll also be naming each other as sources until it literally loops back around to the original--like an old school web ring.

Yeah, I'm not disputing the source's sketchiness. I guess I haven't encountered false news of this magnitude before - will try to look out for it now.

I sent off a couple of emails to see if can get more info, I doubt I'll get any replies though.
