Edit: Honestly, I thought they shuttered a few years ago with Radio Shack, which would be a no-brainer for on-line sales.

Radio Shack, another failed opportunity. They could have easily transitioned into a Micro Center or Fry's and sold computer components. Instead they turned it into a phone store, and once the phone companies decided to open their own stores, that was the final nail.
