What you didn't see is the confrentation with the other officer (the one holding her down) where she spit in her face and kicked her twice.
The one screaming stop resisting was the girl you see getting punched...that is her friend. As per usual you only see the part the media will show you to keep tensions up and fear pumping.

Right or wrong, officers still have to react professionally. Especially since there are cameras everywhere now.
I'm of the opinion the whole encounter never needed to happen. If we can't get the legislators to rewrite dumb laws that don't allow a 20 year old to drink, then officers would be best to do a better job of selectively enforcing such laws.
I agree, but reaction to seeing this for most people is 'FUCKING COPS!!!!!" When really the first officer was nice and very very restraint with how she approached and spoke with that entitled little cunt.
I don't think she should have got her bell rung like that, but honestly a ride on the lightning would have sobered her up. Cops however don't understand de-escalate.....they crank that shit up to 11 and gain the dominant position.
