Kind of clickbaity title, turns out he didn't claim any responsibility. He did tweet about it in the same breath as the Ford situation, which he did have something to do with. Good news is good news, either way.

The news comes after Ford CEO Mark Fields said his company’s decision to ditch plans to build a new factory in Mexico and instead invest $700 million into a Michigan plant, creating 700 jobs, was not related to Mr Trump.

Except he did. Maybe not directly, but they probably didn't want the ire that it would bring.

There's no way that this wasn't in the works for over a year.

Look how fast ford flipped when Trump called them out. Didn't take them more than a month to reverse their Mexican plant plans. The very fact that they even mentioned it had nothing to do with him leads me to believe the opposite. Why mention it at all?

I don't know. But, this investment is for a heavily automated plant. It won't really help the working class. IMO Trump is just lowering taxes so companies will automate within the borders of the US.

If he did why would Ford's CEO say he didn't?

LOL, why would the Ford CEO ever admit that they did it out of fear that they would be at the very least publicly shamed? It makes more marketing sense to take credit for the non-move.
