We all know that cops can be dumbasses, but napping in the commons is an easy way to get campus police on your ass. Most people that do this are passed out drunk.
Doesn't help that this chick refused to show ID, and that the school doesn't require your legal name to be on your school ID. If you're going to take a stand for your rights to not carry ID I'm all for that, but lets not lay this at the feet of the police as some sort of racial issue. The result for a white student would have been the same. Cops have to respond.
Hell, even the bitch that called the cops gave the sleeping chick a warning. The communications between school and police are the real issue here.
