How about this: we step away from the entire shithole that is the middle east. Are the Saudis any better allies than Iran is enemies? Not at all. The are already nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons in the middle east. What business do we have getting involved in their problems? Let them sort it out amongst themselves.
Let them sort it out amongst themselves
It's too late for that now. That's how it should have been handled from the start.
But the US wants to be the world police/overlord, and now they've made a mess.
Ignoring the problem won't make it go away.
I don't know what the solution is, but I know perpetuating the same old same, does not work. Have a look at Libya if you think walking away is a good option.
Why is it too late? What even is the problem? Iran isn't a failed state like Syria. The only countries this is a problem for are Israel, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar. None of our business.
I'm ok with this. It's not a good move, but it's better than keeping the deal as is.

Who do you think funded the Best Korean Nuclear program? Western aid.
Who do you think funds Muslim Jihads through Africa and other areas of the middle-east? Western aid.
Iran is a Theocracy that would like to see all infidels slaughtered or enslaved.
Sometimes we need to step back and let a sick nation/culture fall. And sometimes we need to put a bullet or two in them to make sure they do fall.
But feeding and funding people who will later try to murder you or your children, is a bad idea.
To support that dictatorship is inexcusable. If they have to have a fight, lets do it before they get the tec through the back door, and lets not give them funds to build an army.
There are better ways. But they are mostly prevented by the UNs insistence that they continue tactics that have never worked.
