It is embarrassing to have a UK company doing the kind of shit they were doing, and I get the feeling the surface has only been scratched. Some other entity will continue doing the exact same thing, but I would really rather it not be happening in this country.

It's not like the UK is part of 5 eyes and scanning the transatlantic cables and has cameras everywhere and still has to forbid knifes, but this is embarrassing? A company doing 'data analytics' or 'political marketing' can be opened everywhere.

Probably. At least there is a decent chance they will be pressured to move out of the UK now though.
