I'm not real sure. It would depend on citizenship, I suppose. If you're living abroad on a work visa, that's entirely different than being a naturalized citizen elsewhere. I was assuming you were referring to the latter.

I know a lot of US citizens living in London voted for us elections, I don't really know if their general status was working visa or dual citizenship though.

It's a common thing, Dutch ppl living/working abroad can also sill vote fr Dutch parliament. Think it's the same for US nationals?
