It sucks that the headline of the article says confirmed but the first line says suspected. We were just discussing title rules earlier.

Riyadh — Last night, the area surrounding the royal palace in the capitol of Saudi Arabia was riddled with gunfire, as a suspected coup took place...

According to multiple reports, both King and Prince Salman were evacuated to a bunker where they remained under the protection of U.S. Troops. Still others reported that the King was not present at the palace when the attack took place.

Either way, this is crazy if there was a full on assault on the palace. Please keep an eye on it and followup if anything else comes out.

That's why I didn't touch it, I trust people to do their own homework and cross sources.

A fine example of "alternative" media.

Why are the media desperate to jump to conclusions, painting this event as superficial when several credible eyewitnesses are telling a different story?

The "eyewitnesses" have nothing to report other than speculation, while a headline of "Confirmed: Coup Attempt In Saudi Arabia".

Yeah it's a shit site. There's no evidence let alone conformation.
The story is plausible but that doesn't make this publication any less shitty.
Politi-Spam.
