However, these tech companies do have a lot of power in D.C., especially because most of the senators that questioned Zuckerberg in that committee meeting were paid by him at some point. So, I doubt it will change anything politically in the U.S., but I do think it will make the public more skeptical of these kinds of companies once it happens.
