As long as it gets those perverts who sell kids, I'm okay with it.

It doesn't.
It makes things much better for them. That's the point I was sarcastically trying to make.
Children were never being sold on Backpage, that is deep underground. Now that the adult semi-legal industry is forced underground it leads to growth in the nasty stuff.

There are many stories of young teen girls being sold on backpage ... I saw one yesterday, in fact.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children said that 73 percent of the 10,000 child sex trafficking reports it receives from the public each year involve ads on Backpage.

Sell kids ... death penalty ... you can't defend this crap by saying it's the girl's right.

I'm not sure I'm seeing that the same way as you. Most of the public reports being about the most conspicuous service that allows prostitution, is not surprising, or indicative of where the actual child trafficking is done.

Which is not on Backpages. Backpages is filled with independent escorts, and in North American listings, has no human sales at all.
Trafficking varies depending on area, so I can only speak for mine, but most human trafficking is done through international gangs that do not use the internet for any of it.
The pedophilia rings on the internet are found in other locations that are much safer for the traffickers, they trade in servers on ircs, or hidden areas behind Tor.

I believe more innocents are going to be victimized as a result of this, not less.
