I guess that has to be part of it - I assume it would have gone differently with a different judge. Apparently they all made their case, and perhaps climate change is now something that can be presented and accepted in court.
Still, I'm pleased that courts are occasionally capable of siding with people acting for the common good, against corporations and government. Climate change isn't the only area where that might be useful.

If they really wanted to punish them the judge would make them walk through actual Roxbury.
