i disagree on the point that this does not fit with russian interests. i think this fits pretty much everyone's interests. russians get to show it's agents what happens if they betray russia, anti-russian interests get the obvious OMG, others get another media distraction. its impossible to tell who did it at this point imo.

I don't see any need for them to make a display of what is already well established. At this time, with political tensions that exist, I think it would have far more impact on foreign governments than local agents. I don't see this as lining up with Russias current goal of stabilizing their position.
I'm highly skeptical of Theresas narrative and distrust her motives, as well as many others, so her 'opinions' are suspect at best. I find he complete lack of any evidence to be telling.

I can agree with that. I lack the information to know, but I speculate that everyone is full of shit.
As usual.
I haven't been following this until now, but is there any evidence that it was the Russians? Other than the type of chemical being one that Russia has studied in past?
I did a quick google and found nothing but accusations. Is it only me that thinks this would be an impossibly stupid move for the Russians, and looks a lot more like a false-flag.
Whoever decided to use such an obvious poison, with clear ties to Russia, had to know that this would happen. If they were smart enough to get the chemical, and target these folks, they were smart enough to understand the impact.
That's not how the Russians do things. Before someone says what about the guy they microwaved? Sure, that has similarities and was the Russians, but they wanted to send a clear message, and did so in a way that got the desired results, with no fallout for them.
This attack lacked the nuance and skill that the KGB is known for.
Maybe I'm wrong, I'm mostly speculating, but it really doesn't make sense. It does not fit with Russian interests, but does align with some others.
