I agree, but many folks put every moment of their lives on such platforms thinking it's just fun and games. It isn't, FB< Twitter, whatever, it's all about data mining and selling it for profit.

I can not feel sympathy for anyone that is surprised Twitter violates their privacy.
A grown-up should have explained the perils of the internet before they were allowed on.
