I do think it's stupid to get excited about a shaved head.
But that's even stupider. Discrimination? Has that word lost all meaning?
They chose to send her to a private school that has a bunch of silly rules. Nobody forced that on them, and they are free to leave at any time.
If the school doesn't allow shaved heads, then go elsewhere. People don't get to ignore rules because they don't like them. It doesn't matter how silly or ridiculous.
