In a message to parents the school principal says, “…the costume parade is out of our ordinary routine and can be difficult for many students.

bullshit, better cut all fieldtrips then!

Also, the parade is not inclusive of all the students and it is our goal each and every day to ensure all student’s individual differences are respected.”

Except when the kids actually get to dress up as their favorite character/thing and then express their individual differences in a festive matter.......

But you see, Colored Peoples™ are oppressed, especially if they're also women, and Halloween is just a white construct made to keep down minorities and women and reinforce the patriarchy.

EDIT: Ugh. And I hate even joking about it like this, because there are serious racial issues in my country, for instance, but this does literally nothing to fix anything. All you've accomplished is piss off some people, appease the SJW-types who will never fucking stop ever, even if actual equality is (somehow) achieved, and deny children an opportunity to break cultural norms and expectations in an interesting and safe way. Nothing good comes of this.
