there was the fall (2010) though it was more a fun project than a true album. and yeah, i think gorillaz's best days have passed and by the sounds of this track, i think the album will be as hit or miss as plastic beach. still ought to have some good tracks for the summer, though.

Oh yeah I forgot about The Fall. I liked some of the tracks on that one, but too many end with a 3 minute outro of irritating repetitive noises.

Oh sweet. I don't think they've dropped anything since plastic beach which IMO was a little disappointing. There were some good songs on there but it was mostly meh.
