I had some whiskey and I just... felt like making a bit of noise on my old yamaha. I ear tuned it yesterday and barely touched it but the A still felt good and solid... tonight I played Lazy Eye by Silversun pickups, Free Fall because I've been thinking about his death and a few others I made up... it felt really good to grab and some of that is still like riding a bicycle.... I got hung up on the intro of From First To Last - Emily but I got through it well enough on the second go... feels good to keep those fingers a goin'!

ya thanks for asking.... worth it... I'm thinking about picking up the guitar tonight but alas I'm cooking a roast... I'll share the pictures on s/food later "it really is spectacular spared no expense" :D
Congrats! I enjoy music, it's part of my life. But sadly have no talent other than as a listener - LOL. Keep it up! And the whiskey can't hurt!
I hadn't had any whiskey yesterday, the day I tuned this guitar, and even trying to play hurt my fingers so I gave up feeling crappy. Tonight, however, it's like something came over me and I played about six tunes with minimal breaking for my hand's sake.... a few shots of whiskey can sure make you feel more confident...
also yesterday I think my brain started remembering all the patterns so when I slept I got my fingers back after rem because today holy moly I could've done a song in front of a bar like in the old days lol (I'm a really old young person...)
(I tried to proof read the first paragraph but I just can't do it... I'm drinking and not completely perfect in english lol
LOL - I'm an old young (in my mind) guy, too ... the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak (now). Good luck with getting back in guitar shape.
I'm not as young as I used to be... the spirit is willing... but the flesh is weak.... I've heard that before
