Wining the race to the moon is one of they most American thing there is. I know we have some old Phukers out here. Wouldn't it be fair to say there was a tremendous amount of national pride when the American flag was placed on the moon?

Yes, I agree and after reading this crap, it sounds like Armstrong has gone off the PC deep end. It's sad actually ... he was a hero to many ... now he sounds like a left wing zealot pushing one world BS.

Neil Armstrong is dead. They're just trying to change history.

Doh!!! You're right ... what was I thinking, I know better. It was the actor saying that crap, not the real guy. Again ... doh!!!

Gosling said he didn’t think Armstrong “viewed himself as an American hero.”

Of course he didn't go around saying that he was an American hero.

It wasn't a humanitarian effort to get to the moon, unless you consider defeating communism a humanitarian effort. It was a battle in a war.

If the commies, or India or China got there first, Ryan Gosling would sure as shit want that flag planting in the movie.
