It wasn't really what I expected and that was a good thing. I was thinking I'd have to sit through a boring straight-lace version of a long forgotten story about a redneck ice-skater who got mixed up with the wrong crowd. Instead I got some well written dialogue, some seriously good acting and a really good interview /flashback idea that just worked.
It's still a boring story about a redneck ice-skater who got mixed up with the wrong crowd, but it's worth watching and has a good message at the end.
I dunno. She really pulls off the average looking redneck quite well.
