.1. Apocalypse now - 1979, Ford Coppola, the Redux version.

The insanity of Vietnam displayed in all its facets on a boatride down the river, slowly but surely descending into a moist and pressing jungle nightmare. Perfect soundtrack, tension building, acting, atmosphere, cinematics, the constant feel of "wtf and waiting" and a raw feel to the clusterfuck called Vietnam.

Oh yeah and this scene, with a mindblowing performance from Robert Duvall!

.2. Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb - 1964, Kubrick.

The absolut top satirical picture ever made. At the hight of the cold war, with real commie and nuclear holocaust fears kubrick dissects the insanity of it. Even with the overacting by Peter Sellers on the German guy in the end the picture stands tall and has an ever increasing pressing athmosphere when the lunacy just doesnt end. The cinematics are also impressive.

The bombriding scene or sellers nazi are rememberable but i choose "Precious bodily fluids" as my favorite scene

.3. 2001: a Space oddysee, 1968, Kubrick.

Mind blown, Kubrick nailing the evolution theory in the first scene and the movie hasnt even stated yet. Visual and atmospheric so well done, such a wonderfull tension building that slowly ocreeps you the fuck out and a totally mindblowing open ending.

"the dawn of man" I just have to because it's a goddamn genius scene

.4. The good the bad and the ugly - 1966, sergio Leone.

What is there to say..... a masterpiece. My god the soundtrack by Enio Morrione alone is iconic, pure heaven sent and still causing erections on a daily basis all over the globe. Following 3 skwtchy opportunist over the scorches of a civil war thorn USA, full character development, a good storyline, breathtaking cinemathics, changing odds and alliances. The best ending scene and suspense built up

Legendary

.5. Goodfellas, 1990, Scorsese.

Danny fucking Devito on cocaine = a lot of phuks

.6. Akira, 1988, Otomo

.7. Airplane, 1980, Abrahams, Zucker x 2

.8. Godfather, 1972, coppola

.9. La femme Nikita, Besson

.10. La vita e Bella, 1997, Begnini.
