I learned a really good lesson with my first cat, which also coincided with my first marriage. Don't let a kitten bite you ever, no matter how cute it is.

Our oldest is the one who bit my feet and it was probably my fault from playing rodeo kitty when he was a kitten. I used to move my feet and legs under the covers around until he pounced on one then I'd start kicking while he tried to hold on. He's pretty chill most of the time these days but occasionally he'll bite me for no reason. I'm also that his person so he's the main one headbutting me when they need something. My wife's cat will bite me for not petting him in the right place when I'm trying to fall asleep.

I learned the biting lesson hard, but my next kitten I let sleep on my pillow wrapped around my head. I don't entirely regret that, some nights it is conferting
