I'm feeling nostalgic about the days when it wasn't a cess pool of mindless rhetoric.

Does anyone remember the first proper troll GOT? Or the birth of Amalek with commonsensewarrior?

How about when Mick convinced everyone he got arrested?

Remember when Atko shared his experiences from during the Serbian conflict?

Or when slimgur was born.

Also, what the fuck is up with that Martin timothy sub? I never figured that one out.

Anyways, what are your memorable moments?

When I came to Voat, I planned to lay low and avoid all the drama. Then I was retarded and volunteered to mod a sub. Fuuuuuuuuck.

I suppose it depends on the sub. I created a few and most never got that big, so luckily I avoided most of that.

Ya, /v/videos wasn't too bad at first. But shit went sour at the end.

Yeah I imagine a lot of people started using it a soapbox for their various agendas.

Remember when sanegoatiswear started picking up steam with Atko's disappearance?

That was when I first noticed him back in August. I either hadn't come across him before or simply hadn't noticed him due to lack of autistic shrieking. But he sure hit the ground running after that.

I remember a time when there was interesting science posted regularly, when conversations were detailed, thoughtful, and evidence seeking.

I really enjoyed those days. The reaso with early Voat (and here) is the lack of frequent content. This lead to more people actually reading more than the headline before commenting.
