So, I went and poked them to see the response.
I haven't been there in a while, so wasn't sure what, if any, reaction I would get.
Turned out pretty reasonable (so far).
I triggered a couple, but got lols and reasonable comments from most.

I think you're misreading the intentions. All I am trying to stir up is conversation. Take a look at the post, I don't think it comes across as malicious. Does it?
I've put a lot of time into Voat over the years, and not once has it ever had bad intentions.
I think it is fair for me to share a little of the credit/blame(along with many others) for how it came to be.

unfortunately I have run into a number of people that thought that stress testing a site by stirring up shit was the best was to "improve it"
