Either @Maxcactus signed in with all five of his accounts at the same time and crashed the server or we got five new users from reddit that signed in at the same time and crashed the server.
I was being sarcastic. Every time we get a few new users from reddit that migrate over from banned subs, voat will stall out because of the traffic.

Ah. Every time that happened it would simply time out, though. This is a 503, something is amiss. It's like a database service isn't started perhaps, or something along those lines.

Every time voat gets a little traffic from reddit users coming over the website will stall out. I was being sarcastic. It takes about ten new users to come over from reddit at the same time to shut voat down. The Commodore 64 can't handle that many people on the website at one time :)
