I can picture it. It's such an amusing stereotype yet so very true. A group of men standing in a semicircle around the puzzle. There is silence, some stare at the puzzle, others into the distance. One speaks, positing a solution, which hangs in the air until the silence is again interrupted by reviews of the solution's feasability and difficulty. Occasionally one will point to a problem area with his foot. Once a consensus is reached, work resumes until another problem or puzzle appears.

briefly, giving up on the door and busting the bay window seemed the only choice. props to my sister for setting the last piece of the puzzle.
