Thc dissolves in alcohol. So you give it a rinse, than let the alcohol evaporate, leaving sweet pure thc behind.
Not the most efficient method. But it's cheap and I was just trying to reclaim an ounce of stems and some shitty pot that wasn't worth smoking.

Why would someone saturate 99% rubbing alcohol w/ THC? Like what's it used for?
