Holy balls.

I just got a bill in the mail for $270,000. It's more than that, technically.

It doesn't have a payment due date. It doesn't say "Paid in Full", however.

It says they forwarded a copy to the insurance company.

I don't even know what the gibberish in it means. It took me way too long to even find the grand total. I have no idea if this is a new bill, or if it includes the previous bill (which was a bit lower). If it doesn't include the previous bill, that brings the total to over $500,000. (There's also a bill for a helicopter flight, an ambulance ride, and another hospital.)

For a broken hip.

I ain't paying that. That's on the insurance company. That's why my buddy has insurance.

I can't even read the thing. It's in code. Like medical billing code. I don't actually speak that language.
