Funny, I can't picture you as the Indian ... but you could sail the seven seas.
I'm so Native that Canada has no choice but to let me in.
A goodly number of my relatives are from Canada - and still live there. I'm Micmac - 3/4, to be exact(ish). I've been this way all my life!
Oh, man... The goats get mad when they find this out! It's one of my favorite things to do on Voat.
I let 'em learn all about me - and then I let 'em know that I'm 3/4 Micmac, 1/8 Irish, and 1/8 African! Oh, man! The responses are priceless. Sometimes, they don't believe me - so I show 'em pics! This makes me giggle. They get mad and then I antagonize 'em and pull my extremely egotistical routine!
"It's not my fault you're white! I'm only a little white. Maybe that's why I'm better than you by every single possible metric of note!"
I'm easily amused.
LOL!!!! Well at least you're an Irish Indian ... and a confidant of the Village People ... ya got that going for ya.
We had a few Delaware Injuns where I grew up and my Dad used to know them. My first encounter was when out fishing with my Dad and lil' brother, we were just small kids, maybe six at most. Dad said there' ... can't recall the name ... he's an Indian Chief, let's go talk to him.
My lil' brother and I hid behind my Dad's legs as he walked over to the guy. All we knew of Indians was from the westerns and were expecting to be scalped. That didn't happen ... our barber was better at scalping us back then. The days of buzz cuts, ya know. Maybe our scalps just weren't worth it! Ya never know.
Dude...
I'm the Indian.
Sheesh!
