If public transit wasn't so terribly unreliable in SoCal I'd use it more often. It's surprising when the train is only 5 minutes late...although it did get a little better recently when they stopped stopping at 4 different stations on my route.

Considering how efficient the Japanese are now, I shudder to think what modern Germans would be like if we dropped on them too.

They'd probably rule the world by now.
