The coast guard says they have paused the search for the missing crewmembers for Monday and will resume the operation Tuesday.

Lol, yeah no hurry or anything, were just stuck here under 300 feet of water.

Holy crap that must be scary!

I looked for more as to why they were taking the day off and didn't find anything on that.

Maybe this is there way of addressing the aging population problem,

The regional coast guard office in the port of Choshi said Akira Yano, 72, of Shizuoka Prefecture, was found inside the ship and was later confirmed dead.

The remaining missing crew members had been named as Kazufumi Kamimura, 60, of Ibusuki, Kagoshima Prefecture, Hiroshi Seno, 69, of Akita Prefecture and Saigo Umakoshi, 67, of Imabari, Ehime Prefecture.

That was the line that caught my eye too. And they can't pinpoint the location because the waters are murky. So let's all go home, take a nap and deal with this shit later.

Heart goes out to the victims, for big deal realsies. Sorry their heroic rescuers decided to take a break.
