[23:02:08] <Polsaker> where he saw a basic fightig game bot

[23:03:38] <Polsaker> as he started using the bot to fight other members of the channel he noticed that some parts could be polished
[23:03:49] <Polsaker> so he asked ravioli if he could contribute with code
[23:04:00] <Polsaker> ravioli then proceeded to upload his bot's code to github
[23:04:14] <Polsaker> and as expected, it was pasta code
[23:05:12] <Polsaker> so little young polsaker took the effort to improve some parts of the bot and sending pull requests
[23:05:38] <Polsaker> not long after that, ravioli gave him push access to the repo, and then polsaker completely rewrote the bot from scratch
[23:06:03] <Polsaker> now the bot had statistics, more commands and more fight modes
[23:06:55] <Polsaker> a long time after that, he was suddenly invited to a small channel by ravioli
[23:07:12] <Polsaker> there he met the young E-werd and gibby

[23:08:51] <Polsaker> not long after that, little young Polsaker was invited to a secret cabal channel
[23:10:21] <Polsaker> where E-werd, ravioli and gibby were plotting to create an IRC network for voat.co, a link aggregator of old which was gaining popularity at the time
[23:11:17] <Polsaker> back then, polsaker offered to configure the irc servers and services
[23:11:31] <Polsaker> and in no time, goat.chat was born and fully functional
[23:11:47] <Polsaker> but little did they know that there was already a Voat IRC network
[23:11:53] <Polsaker> *suspense music*
