One day, shortly after the four-year-old Jackie went with her nurse to play in Central Park, the phone rang at home and when Mrs. Bouvier answered it, she found it was the police. “We have a little girl here,” they told her. “We can’t understand her name, but she knows her telephone number. Could she be yours?” When Mrs. Bouvier arrived at the police station she found Jackie chatting with the lieutenant.
”Hello mummy,” cried the little girl when she saw her mother. The lieutenant explained what had happened. He found Jackie walking alone in the park, and when she saw him she stepped up to him and announced: “My nurse is lost.”
