After Curly Bill was released from jail for the Marshal White shooting, he decided to celebrate in Charleston and Contention [in Arizona] – two mining camps about ten miles west of Tombstone – by making a minister dance in his church and by making all the people in one saloon dance for half an hour stark naked.

His wild behavior continued for another six months until he was shot in the jaw by another cowboy. That really dampened his spirits.
