There has been a native Dutch speaking US president and English King

[Maarten van Buren](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/94/Martin_Van_Buren_edit.jpg) was the 8th US president, he grew up in the "New Netherlands" region around New York where Dutch was still the language in common use. So his first/native language was actually Dutch (the only president to have another language then English as native).
