I'm not up on the conspiracy aspect, or any of it really. I did watch "The Secret Land" which is the 40's "Hollywood" documentary on it. It's a good watch.
They used a bunch of cargo planes that they launched off of an aircraft carrier and then left all of the planes there when they pulled out. Well used and maybe buried in snow, but seems like they'd be in good shape otherwise.
