TL;DR: I promise I'm not a jerk.

I'm writing this as a kind of introductory post to the concept of human biodiversity (HBD). HBD is very simply the diversity found among and between human populations that has a biological basis. I'm aware that HBD has been used by some as a justification for racial hatred, but that's not the only conclusion one can draw from such information. Though I came from Voat and have not been active here, I would like to show that I'm not obsessed with denigrating certain races. I just find differences in various human groups to be neat. I just like posting about HBD in various places because it's hard to talk about in real life.

because it's hard to talk about in real life

Ain't that the truth. People can discuss all day how different animals evolved differently due to the environment around them, adapting to regional weather, habitat, food sources, etc., but the second you mention the same for humans then you are deemed a monster. I mean, a civilization that grew in the sub-arctic region with scarce food supplies half of the year would likely adapt significant biological differences than groups of people living in tropical climates with abundant food supplies year round. That is hate speech

It makes people be so odd. You can pick up average differences based on experience with different people, but you're not allowed too wonder if that could have any bearing on anything that matters.
