He was quite a guitarist, though you'd be unlikely to know them as much of their work was as a session musician (studio work).
My memory is really poor for some parts of my life, but I'm pretty sure I met him at a guitar convention in the late 90s. Pretty sure, but not positive. It was the person I was with who pointed 'em out and we went over to say hello.

@TheBuddha, any thoughts on this guitarist? I recognized many of the songs they listed but haven't ever heard of him.
