I just learned that "First Act" (they make guitars sold at Target) has a custom shop.
Yup...
I also learned, they have made guitars for some famous people - and have made what appear to be okay guitars, from their custom shop.
I wrote about that and how I responded to this news. If there's one thing to take away from it, it's that you still probably shouldn't buy a First Act guitar for anyone, not even a kid. I also see it as a bit deceptive.
Strangely, I'm not very outraged by it.

I'm curious if it's more of a sponsor sort of the than the person actually saying to themselves "Man, you know what I would absolutely love? An overpriced custom made shitty guitar."
