I mostly just wanted to say it's fun reading these but I wasn't joking either.

My favourite 'guitar song' is probably Classical Gas but have no idea how technically proficient it is. It does hit the right notes for me though. Yngwie Malmsteen is probably my favourite on your list so far.

Good to hear you have itches to scratch still in the writing department.

Classical Gas...

Most famously done by Glen "Holy Balls" Campbell:

Originally done by Mason Williams (I'm pretty sure):

Glen Campbell (I call 'em Holy Balls) is on my list.

He's #11 on the list, just after Beck and just before Zappa.

I'm glad you're enjoying reading them and the site started off as a joke, more or less. I figured I'd write a few articles and forget it - as I usually do. But, I have a lot more to say and I'm pretty stoked about getting the chance to say it. I don't do it for points. I don't do it for compliments. I do it because I love the comments I get.

I do it because I love the many responses people give me. I love the feedback. I love the conversations. I love to hear how the music has impacted people, what memories they have, and their own musical aspirations.

I put ads on the site but I don't think anyone clicks 'em. I'm gonna be rich! I've made like $0.06! Pretty sweet!

I also have a project with COF (CynicalOldFart) at https://musicfor.us - and it's actually taking over very, very well. It's growing in popularity pretty quickly and that's exciting. That's about keeping the history of rock's early years alive, recounting the tales, and encouraging other people to join us in telling the stories.

You're very, very invited to come visit that site, as well. He does the submitting here and on Poal. I submit it to v/Music on Voat. I'm actually much busier than I might appear to be. ;-)
