from front to back:

5 beefsteak

3 brandywine

4 cherry

4 amana orange

2 siletz

2 roma

I have 4 beefsteaks still in planter pots that I might experiment with in 5 gallon buckets

Nice! You're going to get a good crop out of those I hope. I've got some cherry type and something that popped up out of my compost bin. Thinking about planting some Amish paste that a friend seed shared with me.

I didn't plant my garden this year to give it a break. I have 13 tomato plants coming up out of the ground from seed. <sigh>

My grandpa used to call those 'volunteers' when they'd rise on their own

I had a surprise watermelon plant last year. Made watermelons as wide as my dishwasher.

I'm not even all that keen on watermelon.

I have surprise bamboo in one part of my yard. The neighbor's spread under his fence so now I have a nice patch. Should be useful to make my own stakes and cat toys

T-posts for panels instead of cages?

I thought it worth a try with 2 rows of posts per row of tomatoes. Might work out well, might not

We tried panels last year in our work garden only to discover that we should've tied the plants to the panels as they grew. We had hoped they would grow up the panels without assistance but they just flopped over instead.

Those are some serious stakes. Have you been doing some illegal gain of function research and growing mutant strains that you're afraid might escape?

My beefsteaks ripped down several wooden stakes last year, so thought I'd go HAM this year on the stake front
